A plaque is one of the most enduring forms of recognition. It goes on a wall, sits on a desk, or gets mounted in a lobby where it will be seen every day for years. At Performance Trophies and Medals we craft plaques that are worth displaying, with quality materials, clean engraving, and custom designs that hold up long after the event they commemorate has passed.
Custom plaques in wood, metal, glass, and acrylic. Quality materials and precise engraving create recognition worth displaying for years.
There is a reason plaques have been the recognition standard for generations. They are dignified, permanent, and visible in a way that most other awards are not. A well made plaque in a quality material with clean precise engraving communicates that the person or achievement being recognized genuinely mattered.
We produce plaques for corporate offices, school hallways, municipal buildings, sports organizations, memorial installations, and private individuals who want to mark something important in a lasting way. Every plaque we make is crafted with the care it takes to be something worth keeping.
Classic, warm, and timeless. Wood plaques in walnut, cherry, and other hardwoods are our most traditional option and remain one of the most popular choices for corporate recognition, retirement honors, and formal awards. The natural grain of the wood gives each plaque a unique character that manufactured materials cannot replicate.
Sleek, modern, and highly durable. Metal plaques in aluminum, brass, and bronze work well for outdoor installations, building directories, memorial markers, and corporate lobbies where a polished professional look is required. Available in brushed and polished finishes.
Elegant and contemporary. Glass plaques offer a sophisticated look that works particularly well in modern corporate environments. Deep laser engraving on glass creates a frosted effect against the clear background that catches light beautifully and looks stunning on any wall or desk.
Versatile, lightweight, and available in a range of colors. Acrylic plaques offer a modern aesthetic at an accessible price point and are a popular choice for youth programs, community organizations, and businesses that want something visually distinctive without a premium material cost.
For the most formal and prestigious recognition occasions, marble and granite plaques communicate seriousness and permanence in a way few other materials can. Particularly well suited for memorial plaques, building dedications, and high honor recognitions.
A perpetual plaque or award board allows you to add new names each year, making it the right choice for ongoing recognition programs like employee of the year, league champions, or academic honor rolls. We produce the base board and matching name plates that attach cleanly as each new recipient is added.
Wood and metal, acrylic and brass, glass and chrome. Combination plaques use two materials together to create visual contrast and a more layered premium appearance. Popular for top tier corporate recognition and formal award programs.

The engraving is what transforms a plaque from a decorative object into a recognition piece. We use two primary engraving methods depending on the material and the desired result.
Our laser engraving system produces clean, precise marks on wood, acrylic, glass, coated metal, and other materials. Laser engraving can reproduce fine detail, logos, photographs, and complex artwork with a level of accuracy that rotary engraving cannot always match. It is our most versatile engraving method and the one we use most frequently across the widest range of plaque materials.
Rotary engraving uses a physical cutting tool to carve directly into the material. It produces deep, tactile marks that are particularly effective on bare metal plaques and items where physical depth in the engraving is part of the desired aesthetic. Rotary engraving is the traditional method and remains the right choice for certain applications, particularly formal metal plaques.
A specialized rotary technique used for fine line work on metals, particularly for awards and recognition pieces where a delicate handwritten or script style appearance is desired. Creates a bright polished mark in the material that catches light differently than standard rotary engraving.
Names, titles, dates, custom messages, organizational names, quotes, and logos can all be engraved onto our plaques. For logo and artwork engraving we work best from vector files and will guide you through the artwork requirements when you place your order. We provide a digital layout proof for all custom engraving orders before production begins.
Employee of the month and year plaques, years of service recognition, sales achievement awards, team accomplishment boards, executive office pieces, and company milestone commemorations. We work with businesses of every size from local small businesses to regional corporations and understand that corporate recognition needs to look professional and feel meaningful.
Honor roll boards, athletic achievement plaques, teacher and staff recognition, booster club donor walls, hall of fame installations, and graduation commemorations. We understand the pace of the school year and the importance of delivering on time for ceremonies and end of year events.
Championship plaques, coach recognition, volunteer appreciation, season milestone boards, and athletic hall of fame installations. We have worked with youth leagues, high school programs, adult recreational leagues, and organized competitive organizations across New Jersey and beyond.
Building dedication plaques, memorial installations, public official recognition, department commendations, community service honors, and historical markers. Municipal plaques require precision and durability and we deliver both.
Permanent memorial plaques for individuals, buildings, parks, benches, and public spaces require the highest standard of material quality and engraving precision. We approach memorial orders with the care and respect they deserve and work closely with families and organizations to make sure every detail is exactly right.
Church recognition plaques, donor walls, volunteer appreciation boards, community hall of fame installations, and nonprofit organization recognition pieces. We serve faith communities and community organizations with the same attention to detail we bring to every other order.
Not every plaque is for an organization. People order custom plaques to commemorate personal milestones, to honor a family member, to mark an important location, or to create a lasting tribute for someone they love. We welcome individual orders of any size and treat personal plaque orders with the same care we give to large corporate programs.
Start by thinking about where the plaque will be displayed, the tone of the occasion, and your budget. If you are not sure which material is right we are happy to make a recommendation based on your specific situation. You can also browse our online shop to see product options before reaching out.
Once you have selected your plaque style let us know what needs to be engraved. Names, titles, dates, messages, and any logos or artwork. If you have a logo file upload it through our quote request form or email it to us directly. We accept vector files in EPS, AI, and PDF formats for the best engraving results.
For all custom engraving orders we produce a digital layout proof showing exactly how the engraving will appear on the plaque before we begin production. We will not proceed until you have reviewed and approved the proof. This step eliminates errors and ensures the finished piece looks exactly as you intended.
Once your proof is approved we move into production. Turnaround times vary by plaque type and order complexity but we always give you a clear timeline when you place your order. Finished plaques are shipped securely to your address or available for pickup at our Randolph NJ shop.
Plaque production timelines vary depending on the material, the complexity of the engraving, and the quantity ordered. Standard single piece and small batch orders are typically produced and shipped quickly after proof approval. Larger orders, perpetual boards, and outdoor metal plaques may require additional production time which we communicate clearly upfront.
Rush orders are something we accommodate regularly. If you have an event date that is closer than you would like, contact us as soon as possible and we will assess your timeline honestly. Calling us directly at (973) 315-5542 is the fastest way to discuss a rush plaque order.
We ship nationwide and local clients in New Jersey and the surrounding area can pick up orders in person at 236 S Salem St, Randolph NJ 07869 during business hours.
